Discussion thread -- March 2017 75-word Writing Challenge

@Stable .... is working in a dream world, actually its a nightmare world it doesn't look good for him and his family. The question is how long and how hard can he click so that he can feed his family the "Farmville World of 2025?"

@Ihe .... is leading the space barbarians by example. He realize that to humanize the enemy is to dull your blade so he operates in a way in which there are "No Dull Boys."

@Hugh .... is like most of us. He'd rather not work if he didn't need to. And like some of us he is dedicated to getting high as much as he can. Then fortune strikes with "The Lichens of Xaxia IV." He has found his Nirvana, and even gainful employment rather than work. Unfortunately the cost is more than an arm and a leg.

Many thanks for your reviews Victoria and Parson.

Parson, I particularly enjoyed your use of the word "us".

:D You will notice I did not say "like me." But when the word is true, you use it. --- err, you mostly use it.

@Justin Swanton .... is showing us a reason for work. It might not be glamorous but it's important especially if you are "The Last Engineer."

@mosaix .... is the fast talking salesman whose job is to save the world. He's the kind of salesman who can take what you have and make it seem like nothing in comparison to what he is selling. All he needs is the okay. "Mr. Salesman: 'The Alien Will See you Now, Sir.'"

I need to get a move on and so far I don't have any good ideas - lots of ideas, just none I've liked to far.

@Peter V .... is finding that work unexamined, can mean risks and expenses much greater than anticipated, but when you're good at your job you do not quiver because you have a "License to Kill."

@chrispenycate .... is showing us a world where robots are doing the work and humans are entertaining themselves to death leaving us unsure what "Force times distance=" really equals.

*Chris' review is subject to change if all of a sudden I get an epiphany and really understand the poem." As the old hippy said "Deeeep Man, Deeeep."

@Shyrka .... is showing us an individual whose work is pathos laced. She goes to the weak and dying and gathers what's left so that others might live. It heart wrenching work but it is The Reclamator’s Burden.

@saulfan ....
is showing us the work of a mother whose love reaches beyond her own life. After all protecting her child is A Mother's Work.
(Welcome to Chrons Saulfan, very well done story.)

@nixie....
is finding that being the chosen one is filled with deadly danger and is a Job of a Lifetime.

We are heading into the home stretch with some lengths to make up so that we might reach the royal 43.
