Assembling the Secret Warrior was quite interesting, especially as I quite liked Elena in the Bouncing Back episode. Elena (Yo-Yo) seems to be getting friendly with Joey, but she and Mack seem to be the ones developing chemistry. I was saddened by the blow to their relationship with all the events which took place there.

Ward's comment about having one on the inside quite disturbed me. For a moment, I couldn't decide whom he meant. Lincoln has a dark side which might make him susceptible to Ward's powers. Joey just killed a man seemingly out of nowhere and his behaviour was a bit iffy, but that could go either way. Elena's injury was also given more attention than I'd expect and this was the worst option for me to consider since I like her a lot. The part were Mack was watching her as she held a gun when he wasn't watching made it quite suspicious as well as the disappearance of the one thing Mack told her was deadly. Even Daisy seemed like a viable option and as the episode went further I suspected her more and more. When Simmons inspected Lucio's corpse, I thought that maybe the Hive meant him. In the end, Daisy was the only one who really made sense especially as Hive already seemed fascinated by Ward's memories of her and her zen-ness with her powers as Lincoln had put it. Does this mean that Daisy might become the Bride of Hive now?

Malik's death was quite unexpected in its expectancy.

Fitzsimmons scene was quite heart-warming. <3

The Fitzsimmons scene was very nicely done. Could've easily been too saccharine.

I did think it would be Daisy (only she and Lincoln would know, I'd guess, which locker was his and how to get stuff out of the vault/storage etc).

Very nice episode. Not that many more to go.

Daisy!!! I thought that was quite the twist - we're used to her being so sincere.

But afterwards, I wondered if that made any sense. Didn't Daisy lead the rescue of the SHIELD team and Malick from the bunker long after she'd already been infected? If so, why would Hive want that? Why not keep SHIELD and Malick captured, and simply have Daisy run rampant at the SHIELD base instead??

She was infected during the escape from HYDRA bunker. Most others were already out and Malik was already captured. I think that the Hive didn't really want to get into a conflict with them considering his intentions for them.

Ah, right - that explains it. When I saw the Flashback I thought it might relate to the attack on the building when they first encountered Ward/Hive.

Yes, I thought so too for a few moments. The editing of the scenes wasn't exactly very comprehensive, but upon re-watching, I realized it was from the same kerfuffle.
