What's your favourite animated movie?

How to Train Your Dragon is my #1 favorite movie of all movies. It was my #1 favorite about three months before it actually came out. There were people who complained that the trailers downplayed the movie. I didn't think so

Battle for Terra would be my second favorite animated movie. I love the dilemma the story sets up.

Paprika, though I can't watch it without feeling sad that Satoshi Kon was taken from us far too soon. Artwork was great and the concept was handled with really startling insightfulness. Much better than Inception, a big budget live action which was quite unoriginal with the same general idea.

Wall-E for me as a mainstream film, and GiTS as a more specialist film...I also rate "Vexille" and "Sky Blue" highly

"Patlabor 2" and the "Cyber City: Oedo 808" series, are welcome additions (albeith rather old ones), to my anime/manga Cult Collection

My favourite has got to be How To Train Your Dragon. I love so many that were mentioned but if it meant watching just one animated movie for the rest of my life, I could easily watch that!
I'm like a child, I was so happy when I saw the new series on Netflix.

Pinocchio in Outer Space 1965. I know what your thinking, but trust me , It's a pretty good film as is the quality of the animation that went into it. I recommend it .(y)

I believe these were not mentioned yet, 2 movies and 2 TV series, all in the realms of fantasy and Science Fiction:

“Fire and Ice” (1983), by Ralph Bakshi: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085542/
Although with a simple story has the capacity to transport us to an interesting fantasy world with a battle between good and evil. I was young and I almost fall in love by the princess.
Here we can see the princess in a curious link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5HmTUFDtrQ

“The New Adventures of Flash Gordon”(1979, 1st season only)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_New_Adventures_of_Flash_Gordon

“The series is still regarded as one of the most faithful adaptations, and one of Filmation's finest overall efforts.”
All the 16 episodes are in the true pulp adventure style and have a story arc that continues from episode to episode. When I visualize the Flash Gordo characters I visualize them from these TV series.
All the episodes seem available on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIaeCw88M7s
And, more recently
Ultramarines A Warhammer 40000 Movie (2010)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1679332/
That I think that captures really well the feeling of the Warhammer 40000 universe. At least what I know from it.

Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles (1999)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0190198/

It is not faithful to Robert A. Heinlein, but I really liked it, and is in the spirit of the first Starship Troopers movie.

Welcome to the site, Limmka! I believe this may have been your first post! :)

Frozen is a pretty good movie. I wonder if you've seen any of the other films mentioned in this thread? Have you seen Up, or My Neighbour Totoro, or The Incredibles? They're all excellent films! Anyway, hope you enjoy your time here...post lots! :)
