Tickety Boo Press signs Gary Compton...

Congratulations, and try to keep some control over the movie rights, as I see another "Iron Sky" in the making.

"I'd like to thank the Academy..."

Congratulations Uncle Compton from me and Mrs CTG. I'm glad you decided to be bold and take this route, and we hope your business will grow exponentially.

Good luck, Gary! Sounds cool.

Possibly interested in the ghost stories, but 10k is a loooong old short story.

Like I said there are no rules so 5K if you want or whatever suits. Can't be bothered with all the rules and regs. "publishers," and "agents," have so we'll make it up as we go along and pull it together at the end. So it might be 20 stories at 5K or a mixture, maybe a few 75 worders thrown in. Like I say it will develop organically.

I would love you to be on board as you are one of the best looking and talented writers here:eek:

Congrats Gary!! Best of luck with the new venture.

Hehe, paranormal eh...but like Mousey said 10k is a lot!

Paranormal dragons are probably not allowed, they tend to refuse the idea that they don't exist...on that note - do you want "scary" or is "amusing" allowed?
hehehe
congrats again!

FOR THE RECORD

2500 to 10,000 words. Paranormal dragons, witches, ghosts, possessed ships, telepathy etc etc.

Just want enjoyable, well written stories. There are some good writers here so I'm excited.

If you want to be involved PM me.

Cheers everyone, the comments are appreciated.

Grrrrr!

I blame Mouse as every time my bloody mobile rings I think, Keeley mob.

Great little story, though for our first submission, so keep them coming.

How exciting, Gary.

Are you looking for submissions from further afield? And if so, did you say what you're paying?

Congratulations, Gary. The publishing house sounds ambitious, but I know you have the energy and enthusiasm to make it work.

A question that's already been asked, sort of: what's the deadline for us to hand work in to you? I know you said "Published on the 11/11 at 11:00", but what about the deadline for entries?

I've only got one page written so far, and it will be a BIG story (hopefully not like the 10,000 worder I wrote for Spectral's Christmas antho, at least!).
