X-Men vs. Star Wars

Nightcrawler appears before Palpatine while holding on to Racheal Sommers(Jean Grey's daughter). Palpatine raises his hand and force light strikes Racheal's raised hand. Racheal directs the force lightning back on Palpine and closes her eyes taking control of his mind. You know the rest.

Incorrect! Racheal uses her telekinessis to take control of the Death Star's controls. You've no idea what she's capable. Racheal also has time travel through Asteral project so it wouldn't matter. She's aso possessed by the phoenix force giving her unlimted power. There also mutants with reality warping. They take about five seconds to power the Deatstar up. All Racheal would have to do is send a telepathic message down to the Scarlet Witch and she'd create a reality warp that would cause the entire Star Wars universe to become non-existant. As I said you've no idea what some of these mutants are capable. By the way she's telepathic as well so she'd sense what they were doing. The jedi and sith's powers are pathetic in comparison to some of these mutants. If they needed more power all they'd need is Sage. She can jump start mutations and talent powers. Sage is also telepathic and she has a computer like brain. The computer like brain allows her to interface with computers. Almost like technopathy, but not quite. I'm talking about mutants not just from the X-Men movie, but from the comics as well. As you can see Star Wars has no chance. Here's a conversion between Hank Mcoy and the President in X-Men three.

There's more to the conversion, but but evidently there's a mutant in the X-Men Unverse that can move cities with his mind. He'd be fare more powerful than Magneto or possibly even the Pheonix.

I think the fact that X-Men are apparently omnipotent and immortal means that Star Wars automatically wins, simply by being a better story.

They're not omnopotent. They're powers do have limitations. There are mutants of all power levels. They're abalities include powers such as Superhuman strength to telepathy. What we're talking about is what would happen if the X-Men usniverse fought the Star Wars Unverse. The X-Men just have more more powerful bad guys. Reactive evolution is the ability to adapt to the conditions of the suroundings. You might not like all the power digs, but I do. Magneto makes a helmet that blocks telepath so Charle's couldn't do anything to stop him in X-Men one at the train station. Omnipotent means all powerful. Most mutants only have one or two powers, but they might be at extreme levels. Especially mutants like Storm, Xavier, or the Sway. Sway's a time manipulator. Have you ever seen X-Men? I don't think you have.

Haha I think my previous answers came across as much more belligerent than I intended. I've never read the comics, but I actually really like the X-Men universe (I've seen the cartoon and the movies and sometimes read up about it on Wikipedia). It's just that when someone threatens my beloved Star Wars, all bets are off!

I think the conversation is pretty generalized, but I think the President is actually referring to Magneto...

Incidently Rachael never had full access to the Phoenix force, she could tap into it but was not a full merging with it, whether she had the power to destroy something the size of the Death Star is really doubtful.

Jean Grey on the other hand...

But... both are grounded by their humanity and would not do such a thing, more concerned about the 'innocents' aboard the station that did not really deserve to die. Even if they did do such a thing they would be overwhelmed by the psychic backlash of so many deaths.

Unless (once again) it was Jean as Dark Phoenix, and then she would fry the Death Star where it stood, feed of the psychic cries and explosion, then turn on the Earth and consume that as well, and move onto to something else for dessert.

Gean might not be able to kill a lot being overwelmed, but she could still take control of Deathstar's controls. Now that I think abou it he probably was refering to magneto.if they earth was in danger and nobody else could save it I think the mutants might step in.
