I find the "who said that " game to be a lot of fun, and certainly willcontinue playing, but I got to thinking that an actual trivia game ciould provide fun as well.

A sample of such a question might be- What design was etched on the blade that Ser Vardis Egan was given to fight Bronn with.

or

WHat was Tyrion's response when asked by Gunter (?) how he would like to die

WHat do you all think?

Re: Possible new game

Sounds good to me!

(Was the first a relief of the Vale? The second I imagine was a quip about being in the arms of a whore, but only guessing!)

The first was described as an "etched mountain sky"

The answer to the second was something like "with a cup of wine in my hand, a whore holding my **** in her mouth, and at the age of 80"

Re: Possible new game

Should we kick this off? I might change the title of the thread to 'ASoIaF Trivia', instead of starting a whole new thread. And seeing as how I got half a point for each of the above answers, I think that gives me one correct answer, so I'll go, hey?

An easy one to start us off: What are the arms of the Addam Marbrand?

I'm drawing a blank. I bet someone gets it soon though

First, a new game!

Second, who is Gunter? I'm drawing a blank...

I think Marbrand's arms are a yellow polecat on a purple field... but I'm not sure why I think that.

Sorry, I dhdn't go back to check the spelling. That was Gunthor, one of The Stone Crows.

“When you meet your gods,” a different voice replied, “say it was Gunthor son of Gurn of the Stone Crows who sent you to them.” A branch cracked underfoot as he stepped into the light; a thin man in a horned helmet, armed with a long knife..........................................................................................
.............................“Conn speaks truly,” Gunthor said. “Your silver is ours. Your horses are ours. Your hauberk and your battle-axe and the knife at your belt, those are ours too. You have nothing to give us but your lives. How would you like to die, Tyrion son of Tywin?”
“In my own bed, with a belly full of wine and a maiden’s mouth around my ****, at the age of eighty,” he replied.

Hmm, the thing that comes to mind for Marbrand are two burning brands, crossed, on a purple field.

I guess that seems pretty specific for an outright guess.

Imp, thanks.

chair, you and both seem to think it's yellow/gold/Or on purple/purpure... heraldry is not realy my bag.

Heraldry isn't my thing either, so I "cheated" and looked it up. You guys are on the right track, but it's an orange thingy on (I'm guessing now) charcoal grey.

And you're quite welcome Boaz, Happy to supply that info.

Although he didn't need much help, what object (other than his own sword) did Bronn use to help him achieve victory in his fight against Ser Vardis Egen? Please be specific.

King Tommen II Lannister of the Rock led an ill-fated expedition to Valyria. What, aside from his life, did he lose?

The Lannister family Valyrian Steel sword... it's name escapes me, at the moment.
