Someone mentioned to me that there are no author pages on TBP. I have been playing around with an idea of a portal so the traffic comes to see Jo but then reads about Jeff or Susan rather than having seperate pages.

Is there any legs on the idea? It needs alot of work but you get the idea,

I think it's a nice idea. I'd guess it'll increase cross-author traffic at least a little, which is good for both them and you [and the reader, of course].

As a publisher, you need a place point for your customers (read that as readers) to interact with your authors, discuss plots, announce AMA etc. It doesn't need to be a lot - it should be about the books they have with TBP, TBP events they will be at, not everything the author is doing. Of course each page can link out to their own author pages where they can pimp out all the things
