Humans - AMC remake of Akta Manniskor

Just a teaser trailer, the series commences in October...

Akta Manniskor was a fantastic show and I'll need some convincing that this will live up to it. I'm sure the effects will be flashier but that could be a negative as the varying levels of "uncanny valley" between the HuBots and the humans was part of the intrigue (trying to avoid spoilers!)

It'll certainly have to be better than "Almost Human" the ill-fated buddy cop version of this man and machine future vision!

This is a joint production with Channel 4, apparently, and according to the link below the plot outlines appear to mirror the original story.

The production company also made Utopia and Broadchurch, both of which I thought were very well made, so cautiously optimistic for this.
