About fifty years ago I recall reading a number of science fiction books by two different authors.
I have a very vague recollection that one was a lady writer.
My memory is that I read several on the same theme. As I recall this was about life on planet other than earth. The most vivid recollection is the use of names written without vowells. For example the word "Hrss" for an animal described as similar to a horse.
The other book described the inhabitants as being covered in fur. Great emphasis was made on "keys" and the holding of "keys". That is the keys that open locks.
I hope someone has a beter memory than mine.
