It has been some time since the demise of Firefly and the attempt by the producers to give the fans some sort of ending to think about with the release of the feature length Serenity.
For fans of the TV show this is not good news, as the story lives on in a series of stories written by the original Firefly writing team and will be published by Titan Books.
It seems that as shows fade away from TV, going the book or comic route is one way where the story can live on and maybe even thrive under less pressure from critics, fans and studios.
Not much is known about the story or who will actually be involved in the project; one thing is for sure some fans will be pleased.
