Besides, I'd really like to engage in some discussion on this book with others who have read it.

It's about a girl, a sort of princess/assassin who's suddenly orphaned when her father, the King, dies.

And after that, her adventures with a creature that is attracting her by a sort of telepathy to have sex with it.

The thing is: Well, it seems to be the first serious and non-graphic novel I've seen which uses tentacle sex as a major plot device, at least towards the end. And I'd really like to discuss that aspect of it (or any other of the book really) with somebody. I've been working now and again on a work that involves that practice rather heavily.
