G'day all. I have taken a break from fantasy and SF and started reading some Deaver crime thrillers. I am almost finished with the Devils Teardrop about an FBI unit that consults with a document expert to catch a killer before he kills a lot of people on new years eve. It may seem predictable but I tell you it is quite an easy, quick and enjoyable read. Nice twists that throw you completely out where you thought the story was going now it's a different etc. What do you guys think of JD? Anyone read his books yet?

I've never read any, but i have heard a lot of good stuff about him from a couple of the guys at work.

Will probably finish The Devils Teardrop this weekend and I must say I can't wait to see what happens, loving the twists and explanations to them as well.

I have read several Jeffrey Deaver books. He is always good for a few unexpected twists, and his information about police proceedures is beleivable and up to date.

Try "A Maiden's Grave"--it is the first book of his I have read.
