    Meeee!

My first question, in regards to the rules, is how far in advance we have to predict the scores. Can we do it the night before?

I dont see why not. I think as long as the tips are in before the game, say a few hours before kick of then that should be ok.

How are the points going to work?

3 for correct score, 1 for correct result but not score (that is, A to beat B, A and B to draw, etc), and 0 for nothing?

Sounds pretty sensible - and simple, which is important if I'm to have any hope of following it.:p

    Yeah that sounds good

Lets say Tips in by 3 hours before kick off of each match
3 points for correctly tipping the score of the match
1 point for correctly tipping a win or draw
0 points if you forget to put in your tips or dont pick the winner

Fresh from my triumph** in predicting*** the NFL play-offs....

    Count me in.

** - Versus a limited number of other Chronners, that is.

*** - Using information that won't be available (and wouldn't be as much use if it was) in the World Cup.

I'll play, if I remember. Not a huuuge football fan, but I like games like this.

[Reminds me, we should try resurrecting the tennis thingy for the Grand Slams. That was fun, I thought].

I'm only at home for six days in June (including today) until after the 18th.

But I'll try and get my predictions in, if I can.

I wont remember to do them but it would be interesting. I'll say Australia vs Germany will be 2-1 to Germany.

Haha at least I have them scoring one goal. And I will be sitting up at 4.30am to watch that game too. With a hot chocolate and a blanket.

Ok here is the list of the fixtures and what day they are playing. I have a spread sheet done too, so we can keep track of the scores. Post your tips here and I will put them in to the sheet.

Is there a rule as to how many to post at once? Well, not a rule as such, but guidelines to make it easier on your keeping track?

I'll do the first two days for a start:

    South Africa 1 Mexico 3
    Uruguay 1 France 1

    Argentina 1 v Nigeria 0
    England 1 v USA 1
    South Korea 0 v Greece 2

Howdy folks - I must warn you: my powers of intuition knows no bounds! (Except when it comes to predicting the release of certain books that is).

I better start crunching the numbers...

PS: Ace - well we know it won't be Scotland :)
