That's what happnened, at least here in the States; I don't know about overseas. Well, I go to various Border stores around my area and each one always had all four books of the series; however, just recently, I discovered that all copies seemed to have vanished from the shelves.
I did a search on Amazon as well as Barnes & Noble, and only Fire Mask, the 2nd book in the Last Legion series, was out of print. I called Borders, and the rep told me that it was recalled by the publisher.
Does anyone have any specific information? Is it normal for a publisher to just recall a book? I haven't read the book, but I don't think the book has any real controversial content that has come under fire for it.
