He's mostly known for his Star Wars books, but he has a lot of other work out there. What do people think? I've only read Talion:Revenant so far, and I think it was his first work.

I used to play a lot of Battletech, and read the Battletech novels which he wrote. (He also played.) I enjoyed them, especially for his technical style, and he carried this style directly into the Star Wars novels, in my opinion. I think he's good at what he does, but I don't know when or if I'll look into his works that don't have to do with either SW or BT.
