Down in a lonesome corner of the World Wide Web
There is a group of people who never go to bed.
They stay awake and talk all night,
Of aliens and Goa'ulds and Death Gliders taking flight.
They sit and they type about their beloved SG-1,
Hey, this is what these guys do for fun!
They talk of Jack and Daniel and Sam,
And Teal'c with his Staff weapon. Kablam!
They talk of the General and good old Doc Frasier,
Of slimy snake ass Apophis and the terrible Sokar.
Then there's the Tok'Ra, the Asgard and Nox,
Remember when Jack and Teal'c decided to box.
They debate mythology and talk of technology,
There's enough fan fiction here to create an anthology.
There's a place for seasons one, two three and four,
Let's just hope there will be many more.
There's even a place for the film that started it all,
It's where to go to have a ball.
So many threads, so little time, and then
There's always "You Know You've Been Watching Too Much Stargate When…"
Don't forget the Goa'uld Song Book,
It's so hilarious, it's worth a look.
There's goss about Conventions and Merchandise,
A day, you must visit, this site at least thrice.
The Aussie Contingent always come to the party,
With Shelby , JAD, Cat, Corzafa and of course, Marty.
Then there's all the wonderful moderators,
They make sure we don't start any wars.
And who could forget the little aliens, counting our posts,
Let's just hope they don't decide to take us as Hosts.
From Gen. Dis. to Chit Chat, all ages are here,
Everyone is friendly, there's nothing to fear.
We can't stop posting, we're on a roll,
This really is very good for the soul.
Once you're here, you'll never roam,
This forum will become your new home.
And the man we have to thank for all this fun,
Ascifi Founder and truly the One,
The boss, the dude, the only guy that matters,
The fantastic and brilliant Christopher Padders.
