Is there any point in continuing the Book Club?

I didn't realize until now that there was a book club...I don't get here as much as I'd like. So is it too late to join in or is it being stopped?

    Harris' Southern Vampire series

I agree, Anna seems like a strange choice to play Sookie. I don't have HBO, but am hoping to rent the series when it goes to Blockbuster. I hope they can do the series justice, I enjoy reading them.

Thanks for the welcome. The last Farris book I read was Phantom Nights, one of the best I've read...it was amazing.

    John Farris

Any Farris fans out there? I recently went through a few boxes of books and found Son of the Endless Night. I was instantly enthralled from the beginning. Alot of his books are out of print so I picked up The Uninvited and Fiends online. His style vaguely reminds me of Straub.

    Ghost Story by Peter Straub

This is the first I've read of his and I really like his style. I reminds you of what horror used to be. I wish I had started reading him sooner. I'm only halfway through, but it's so captivating and spooky.

    Ann Rice's Vampire chronicles

I've collected many of Anne's books. I don't think I'll ever get over her change in writing style. I guess all good things come to an end. I think my favorite is The Vampire Lestat.

    Richard Matheson

Just finished reading I Am Legend and I thought it was amazing. The emotions it takes you through as you read is unbelievable.

    Douglas Clegg

I recently purchased some of his books. Has anyone read any of the "Harrow House series"? I've got Mischief, The Infinite, and Nightmare House. I still need to pick up The Abandoned. They look pretty good. Ghosts and hauntings.

    Clive Barker

I'm almost done Weaveworld. Don't get me wrong, I do like it, but it's become a bit long in the last 200 pages or so. It's just not my favorite. I can't wait to see what happens to Shadwell.

    Clive Barker

I'll keep in mind to read Galilee, it's the only one I don't own yet.

    Clive Barker

It's funny, after reading Coldheart Canyon, I find myself wanting to someday explore the canyons in California. I'm halfway through Weaveworld and I think it's excellent. It's not quite as dark as Coldheart though. It has alot more fantasy in it and that's something I just started...

    the face?

I enjoyed The Face. I liked the boy, can't think of his name, he loved books. He was so clever. I guess with Koontz, what draws me in is the good and evil thing. His stuff can be very spiritual.

    Clive Barker

I really liked The Thief of Always too. I was searching Clive Barker's stuff online one day and was there was a second book to The Thief of Always and was wondering if anyone had read it or knew anything about it.

I'm currently reading Coldheart Canyon and I think it's pretty good. It actually enticed me to buy a few more of Barkers books. Anyone read it?
