Welp, I've been a busy dragon since I last updated. I hit 170K the other day. And now have more followers and all that jazz. Happy MC, though they're all about to get real pissy at the story I'm releasing tonight.

Popping in late to say absolutely, writing has been a form of therapy for me. It's cathartic. And the stuff I write when I'm really digging deep and working through stuff is some of my best and most popular writing.

Well, I've hit 83K and have just been told that "You're one of my favorite authors and I can't wait to see more from you." Squee!

I really enjoyed watching him develop. And I don't think it was his death that turned me off so much as being strung along for the last season. Like--cool, I get it, drive the plot, but kill him once or not at all. Not this "is he alive or not" garbage, only to kill him off a few episodes later.

I quit when a certain character met a very brutal end (getting his head smashed in). I feel like I might have enjoyed later episodes, but that was just too much for me at the time it aired. I may go back and watch some, but it's unlikely.

Turns out my big arc I'm working on will be much longer than expected. I projected 20K, and I'm now currently 10.5k in and about a third of the way through. So yay! I got the 5th chapter of it up and published just now.

Working on another short. The WIP seems to have ground to a halt for the last few days, but I want to keep up the work. I've finished my chapter in the collab and am planning on getting this short out in the next day or so. Maybe then my mojo will reappear.

The biggest example that comes to mind is A Series of Unfortunate Events. Admittedly I haven't read the series in YEARS, but I remember it working decently. It does need to be well done, though. Ooh, also, Deadpool.
