Been watching Farscape season 2 (about half way through now). Don't have cable TV, only DVD access. Pretty decent show so far.

Episode 3 - Who is evil: the Empire or Jedi?

All oppressors should be controlled and squashed under the steel-toed imperial boot of, um, well, um... nevermind. They are both evil.

Not sure myself, but you could check out www.photographyknowhow.com He is a professsional photographer friend of mine and would know the answer to that question - it may even be on the site itself. Just email him through through the site, if not, and he will have the answer I think. Or...

    November's bookworm trails

Just finished Ian Rankin's "Strip Jack" - Love this guys Inspector Rebus novels. Rankin's sense of humour is exactly what I need to combat my sucky day job. Now into "Xone of Contention" by Piers Anthony - it's like a lightly toasted marshmallow - sweet fluffy and familiar - after that...

Have you stopped reading Wheel of Time?

Read the first three books - no more. I've had enough. I like a series to actually end. I mean really end. As in ending, for good. Except Xanth, but that is just silly. ;)

    What makes for good horror?

I find the disturbing and insidious best, ala Lovecraft, much more entertaining than gore or the obvious chainsaw raving luney. With that said, has anyone read any Caitlin Keirnan? I read "Silk" and found it pretty good, creepy, disturbing and subtle, yet effective. And King, don't much care...

    Covenant Movie

We are soon to be treated to "Lord of the Narnia" so why not "Lord of the Chronicles?" ;) Not so sure tortured anti-heros and Hollywood is a good mix. Will wait and see.

    Amber?

Absolute classic. Love it, love it. :D One of the best first person narrative works (all of them) I have ever read. Of course I love all Zelazny books, even the ones written with Saberhagen.

    Scariest Moments in Reading

I'm thinking "Nom" at the end of a chapter in 'The One Tree'. Of course, it was 3 AM on a school night.
