Stand Up Guys .
A film that makes you squirm it is that bad .
I did`nt get very far into it but the lowest point of the film (?) was when Pacino chats up a young girl in a bar and he gets to dance with him .
You just gotta watch it to see how sick bucket moment in Pacino`s career it is .
It was quiet for the time of day , 12.01 am and they knew that sooner or later it would be light and they would be able to find a little Cafe that sold those nice little buns that looked like Space Ships , and still had one of those old space invader machine that took most of their pocket money...
I still remember in impact of the first Sci Fi I saw at the Cinema , and I guess was the start of something that got me hooked on Sci Fi .

Watched last night at last .
And blimey ! I enjoyed it .
Is this how the new Star War films will turn out . ?
Not a fan of Star Wars ( must be the only Sci Fi I don`t like , oh and Blakes 7 )
But John Cater was a film that did`nt have that " Lets sell Toys " edge to it .
You can`t beat originals
So it has to be Kirk for me .
One of the many reasons why I grew to love Sci Fi and the original Star Trek was a stand classic T.V. Series .
Without it there would`nt have been a Picard ( 2nd Choice )
They did`nt really have enough time to for us to get to know them I thought.
But there was one or two I didn`t really want to know .
The Scottish woman for one . :confused:

I loved it .
A lot of unanswered questions.. true .
But you got to admit it is well worthy for a sequel .
I guess R. Scott may pass on that and give it someone else to play with .
Didn`t do Cameron any harm .
As for the Alien that came out in the end , it would be a lot different from the...

She was a fine looking women .

I must admit I have seen it in the shops !
That`s why it is`nt in my collection .
I now have a mission to buy this classic .

This is one of those films when I were a kid that slowly dragged you into the brilliant Genre of Sci Fi. :)
