    Sci-Fi/Fantasy stories without human characters

Read - Sea of Rust by C Robert Cargill recently. Full mech book with Robots only. Albeit very human like with flashbacks to a time when humans did exist. Did read The Crucible of Time - John Brunner partly just because it has no humans and i thought it was pretty good in fairness.

Just started re- reading The Eden Series by Barry Kirwan. Real nice quadrilogy. it’s a Space Opera and if my memory serves me rightly - some epic battle scenes. Who doesn’t like War played out on Galactic Scales eh?!?

    Hyperion - Dan Simmons

just finished Hyperion and thought it was a great read. He leaves it open so will be buying The Fall of Hyperion too. Dan Simmons never revelaed too much about the Shrike in the first novel, so will be interesting in the sequel to see how he tackles it. Furthermore, he has gone about the age...

    Surface Detail (Culture)

    Time to Rank His Books

@Vertigo attempted a re-read marathon and since have placed Look For Windward above Cosider Phlebas. IMO LTW is underrated. Player Of Games has to remain up there as the top for me, was just as good a read the second time round
