I have just finished Ready Player One by Ernest Cline and Grasshopper Jungle by Andrew Smith, I really enjoyed both of them. I've just started Armada by Cline and am thinking of maybe The Martian bu Andy Wier or perhaps finally getting round to Republic of Thieves by Scott Lynch.

Farscape did far better overseas than it did here, not because people didn't like it, but because the network it was shown on would not show it at the regular time, and bump it to a different time slot every week or advertise it to be on and show something boring like cricket or 60 minutes.

Jean M Auel's series is pretty decent up until the 5th book. If you read the first 4 and then stop its a good series. The 5 book was pretty horrible and I haven't been able to bring myself to read the last one.

I have only just been put on to this series from a work friend, I am currently up to book 4, I think it has to be up there among the best series I have read. I haven't read much of Kings other works, but after this I may have to give them a go.

I went on Sunday to see "Cabin in the Woods" with a work friend. It is only on limited release in Australia, only one Cinema per state which is a shame as it is a great movie. Sure its no Oscar winner, but I love the mix of humour and gore.
