    Kim Stanley

Any fans of Kim Stanley over here? I've read the Martian Chronicles and I like them a lot. I like how they focus on both hard science and sociological issues.

What is the scariest movie you have ever seen?

I totally agree with you. I find that most horror movies are fairly predictable. But there are some good ones that can give you a good scare, even if they aren't technically horror movies. I remember seeing one that took place in a concentration camp, and the guy had to pretend to his son that...

    How do you read?

I read very erratically, and I always tend to skip sections, or jump around the book. Sometimes, I read the last page first.

Favorite Race in Star Trek (Other than Humans?)

What is your favorite race? Mine is the Borg. Did you know that the Ferrangi, not the Borg, were originally supposed to be the arch-enemy of the Federation in TNG? They decided othewise because the Ferrangi were not suited to the task, and thats how they came up with the Borg.

What is the hardest game you ever played?

I would have to say that the hardest game I've ever played, in terms of tough AI, would be Fritz 8. That program is truly a monster. In terms of gaming, the hardest game I've ever played was a game called Galactic Civilizations 2: Dread Lords and Dark Avatar. It uses multi-threaded AI, and...

How well do you remember books after you've read them?

I tend to remember everything that I've read in any book. I also remember the details of my favorite sections too. But mostly, I remember the general plot, and if I reread the book, I start remembering the details again too.

Does anybody feel like that Lost is being totally dragged out?

Another thing I find annoying is that they keep on introducing new main characters and many of them really only serve to add more clutter and confusion in the story.

    Maus by Art Spiegelman

I liked how he recorded everything they did while Art was interviewing his father too, it also gives insight to how the Holocaust affected his father for several years afterwards.

    Maus by Art Spiegelman

I like the analogy of the cat vs mouse thing in his illustration of Maus, I find that it does a good job portraying the feeling of always being chased and prosecuted.

    Maus by Art Spiegelman

Anybody read this comic book? It is about how his father survived the Holocaust. Anybody who hasn't read it, just be warned, it isn't for the light hearted, there are some extremely graphic pictures in it.

Does anybody feel like that Lost is being totally dragged out?

Does anybody here who watches Lost feel this way? For one, they aren't really answering any questions. On the contrary, they are putting more and more. Second, I think that the show has lost it's mysterious appeal since it is now exclusively focused on the others. In the start, there was alot...
