At last got to see Pan's Labyrinth and Being John Malkovich on Film 4 the other night.
Loved Pan's Labyrinth, very dark but just right for that time in history.
Being John Malkovich - once I got past the initial weirdness the 7th 1/2 floor, a good movie, John Malkovich was brilliant.
Oh I would love to go to Tranquility (Nights Dawn Trilogy)
Ankh-Morpork, as long as Vimes or Carrot were with me
I know it's not a city but would love to go to The Vale of Aldur
Blimey, where to start.
Stu Redman (The Stand)
Death
Nobby Nobbs
Belgareth
Silk
Polgara
Denna (Mord Sith)
Andy Dufresne (Shawshanks)
Pennywise (IT) sooo scary
Oh and Lucy (The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe)
There are more but those are off the top of my head
I read Nation, when I bought it I didn't realise that it was for children but being a big kid myself I loved it because it was different but still an excellent read :D
I had it for my birthday along with Under The Dome (Stephen King), had to read that first.
So I've just finished Unseen Alchemicals...hehe he still has it, especially under the circumstances. Hope he still has more in him.
Mmmmm food for thought. The practical me says noooo Stephen don't do it cos The Shining was brilliant but the curious side of me would like to know what lasting psychological effects that hotel had on Danny.
Also Stephen very rarely lets me down
He's also brilliant at tapping into the dark underbelly of the human soul. His characters whether they be good or bad are well defined. Always been a huge fan. The Stand is still the top of my list.
Has anyone read Under The Dome yet?
Hiya
I know I've been away a while but I have to tell someone. Under the Dome I had it for my birthday, started reading it Saturday just put it down.
In one word BRILLIANT!!!!!! awful but brilliant won't say more till someone's read it
