    The King (David Feintuch)

I read it... yeah finally... oh... and my review of the post... he be spoilers... ;) . . . what can I say... David Feintuch must take extreme pleasure in watching his characters suffer... I suppose we all have that sadistic streak in us. Between him and Sara Douglass, I have realised...

How good are comics with continuity.

I am just wondering... the only ones I really ever got into, being the Superman one, had a wonderful multi-verse storyline which could explain away the various inconsistancys that occured over the years. But anyway, I am just wondering how good are comics with their continuity, especially as...

Why did Jennifer Lien (Kes) leave Voyager?

actually, if you look at my posts, I never ever ever used the term "Brutally fired". That was another poster. IN FACT I made the comment that Jennifer left Voyager due to her contract not being renewed. Yeah, I did use a few flowery adjectives and semantics, and will except any flack from...

Why did Jennifer Lien (Kes) leave Voyager?

^Did you even bother to read my posts? I was rather even-handed in my arguements and you seem to ignored them entirely. You repeated several things I had already mentioned in my posts to justify you arguement, but in turn, only made your arguments redunant. In regards to Jennifer Lien coming...

When EXACTLY did Janeway violate the Prime Directive?

^to be even handed, can you also produce a list where Kirk, Picard and Sisko broke the Prime Directive?

    The King (David Feintuch)

The King I just brought the book, the sequal to Fientuch's first non-Seaford saga book "The Still". I have read the first chapter and it is looking good.

Vampire books after QotD (Anne Rice)

I read the first one (and obviously the tie-in "Merrick"), I did enjoy them, but I never got to the others due to circumstances that had nothing to do with the books (lack of time to read such a long book) ;)

    Nightfall (issaac Asimov)

Nightfall I found this to be a great Issac Asimov book. Rather creepy and dark, but still full his genius. I heard somewhere that he had written a Nightfall 2 (well somebody wrote it anyway). Is this true and what does it involve? But the characterisation was good, the plot was brilliant...

    Have they aged Cordelia

I have the feeling that the writers of the show have aged Cordelia somewhat. Obviously there is the huge difference in age between actress and character to begin with - Charisma is 32 while Cordelia is only suppose to be 21. But the chartacter has matured somewhat in development and...

    Ben Bova: The Exiles Trilogy

Well to my knowledge there not in print anymore, but you should find them in any good second hand place, plus they are being sold on Amazon to my knowledge. But they are: 1 Exiled from Earth (1971) 2 Flight of Exiles (1972) 3 End of Exile (1975) They where released as the one book...

Vampire books after QotD (Anne Rice)

Vampire books after QotD Okay it is generally accepted that the first three Vampire Books Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat and Queen of the Damned where her best vampire books. (Queen is my personal favorite). But I would like to get peoples opinions on the vampire books after...

Feintuch, David: The Seafort Saga: Book Three

There where some chapters that almost where totally in trannie, thus I skip them (after the briefest of skim-overs). Truth be told, they really added nothing to the plot and thus could easily be skipped. (The converstions I mean added nothing to the plot- the trannie movement of course was...

    Ben Bova: The Exiles Trilogy

Do people remember it? It is about a group of sciencists who are exiled from earth after a great scientific discovery. Rather then live their live in an orbital station, they set out to travel to the nearest star system. The first book was my favorite as is layed out so much. The second book...

Why did Gates McFadden leave for a season?

I had heard that, while she did leave do to a 'difference of opinion' between her and the producers, there was also the added fact that one of the producers was sexually harrassing her. And by the time she got wooed back for season 3, that producer was no longer working for Paramount.

    3.76 : Requiem For Methuselah.

I hated this episode with a passion. Manly for all the stuff you mentioned above. But in turn, it was the inspiration for the very funny "Requiem for a Martian" line in Free Enterprise

When EXACTLY did Janeway violate the Prime Directive?

^Janeway was just caught in the ultimate Catch 22 - damned if you do, damned if you don't. Kirk, Sisko, Picard et al also ended up at sometime or another in a Catch 22 situation, so I don't know why Janeway is always picked on.
