I was surprised that the captive Wolf didn't do more damage in making his escape. Is the new doc a goner, or will she be entranced by Wolfman's crazy-eyed charm?
What made them think that Sam would make it through the zombies? They should have duct-taped the kid's mouth shut.

After the cliffhanger last week, I made a point to catch this week's episode on time. Very tense episode!

Morgan needs to seriously re-evaluate. As good as he is trying to be, he doesn't fit this world. If it was only his own life he was risking, out in a cabin in the woods, then fair enough. But he may have just lost the community their doctor because he was protecting a certifiable lunatic who was never, ever going to change.

Blondie's kids are serious liabilities. I'm not sure which is worse, the occasionally homicidal, occasionally suicidal Captain Negativity, or the simpering mess that is the youngest one. 'Just pretend you're not a sissy' is not the best strategy to survive the zombie apocalypse.

I thought Darryl, Abe and Sasha would show up before the end. Did Eugene drop the radio? Because it was fairly quickly forgotten. That might have been handy. Also not sure why Tara and Rosita didn't just drop the Wolf once they came around the corner and saw the situation, but I guess it was pretty split-second.

Also - does no one think to be quiet and stay out of sight in these situations? Ron blew that strategy for Rick's group (oh, and Sam playing goddawful music as well, even when he was told not to), but Tara and Rosita having a fairly loud conversation in view of the zombies at the doors. Duck down, stay quiet, and they might move on.

Yeah. That "all life is precious" stuff has grown super annoying. Tell that to the already battered Carol, who should have known that her knife was no match for Morgan's martial arts staff.

Great description for a teenager who has picked a really, really bad time to be surly. If Carl had been a chip off the old Rick block, Ron would been left in the garage as walker bait. Sam's choice of Tiny Tim's "Tiptoe through the Tulips" should have been met with a fusillade of bullets in even the pre-apocalyptic world. The boy obviously has some issues.

First of all, \o/ , Gabriel killed someone. Well done. He deserved a chance to redeem himself like no other person in Rick's group. Eugeen has already done it, so it's only proper he did it. But even though we didn't see Alexandrian's other than Denise we shouldn't count them in the kill list. Every life is important!

That's right. Goodman was a good character judge, but Morgan trying to practice Goodman's lifelong experience isn't going to happen no matter how much Morgan wants. The time isn't now, but the place for this to happen is right. Rick's group needs to change the course and grab the bull from horns. If they want this to succeed they have to clear Alexandria from dead people, and not assume it's safe, when and if Rick's plan succeed.

I doubt they are going to make to the Armory, with a little boy on tow and wanting mummy at the same time. But, no matter what happens, Morgan should have told to Rick that he had captured a prisoner. Most importantly that prisoner could be interrogated for much needed intelligence on Wolves operations in the Washington DC area.

The problem with this season is that it's meant for binge watching. All the events are tied together one way or another. It is almost like we're watching 24, but instead of hours, we are getting linked together sequences. Almost as if they're writing a book.

In a way, it hasn't gone down well as unlike in the previous seasons, we have found much to criticize during this autumn period. The episodes hasn't been exactly suitable for weekly viewings. But in the long run, I hope they get their act together - even if it's too late to do reshootings. The editors have to do some extraordinary magics to save this series, if the story sucks, because the next season could be the last of this series if the numbers start to go down.

None of the doctors survive in this series. Just think about it. Denise might see her end if Wolf ditches her on sight of the hordes. Although I don't think he's too scared about zombies, as it seems he's been with the dead people for quite a while. Denise, however, is seriously f***ed if she's ditched in the middle of walkers.

They're on a crash course towards a rock called reality. Even if Glenn was saved, they're just sidekicks at the moment. But about the Captain Suicide, I was surprised Carl didn't cap him, when they were alone in Ron's room! However, being a little boy from a world of yesteryear, Sam did brilliantly on acting the way he did. In story wise, like I said above, I don't think they're going to get far with Rick's plan with Sam doing his Are-we-there-yet act.

Cul, I'm in Europe, and that extra, after-credits scene is available at our version of IMDB, top and center, under the trailers section (there's a picture of Michonne, even though she's not in the clip; it's labelled 'Prologue: Season 6, Part 2'). It's 1:51 of an ominous encounter. Darn, I hope they can pull all of these storylines together properly the next eight shows. CC

Interesting episode. Though I was a bit annoyed by Carol running off. She basically was acting like an idiot. She hurt our leg, so of course she isn't easily outrunning anyone. We see on this episode how almost every character is mentally unhinged in some way. Also I think Morgan would have ko'd almost instantly when she first lunged at him.
Still good entertainment overall though. A lot of people will be waiting to see how Rick's group get away from the Walking Dead this time.

I'm hoping now he will find a balance between kill or save. He just put the doc in danger. Honestly, you can't save everyone. You're just one person, Morgan!

So now we have Zombies coming in, the Wolves to tend with, and if that were not enough to heap onto the pile, who the heck are the Savors? I heard the leader was worst than the governor. Guess we'll see. I just hope they don't take Daryl, Shasa, and Abe with them. I also thought...they have a truck...the Savors have motorcycles...can't Daryl just drive through them or around? Taking out a few along the way? Guess not. Can't wait till February!

Morgan may still blame Carol for the escape, maybe thinking with time he could change the Wolf.

The rocket launchers will have put off Daryll from driving through too. :-O

Yeah, I don't think it's going to change Morgan's viewpoint - he'll just blame Carol for giving the Wolf an opportunity to escape. He may even use the fact that the Wolf didn't kill anyone on his way out that his methods were working!

I can't see how Darryl flooring it would have been a good option. Those guys were heavily armed, and in a good position to fire directly into the truck's cabin. Also it's fuel truck. I wouldn't want someone shooting at it if I was inside.

I found the episode underwhelming and quite annoying, tbh. Carol's actions made no sense to me, given how the character has been developed. She would've waited and done it another time, not in the middle of all that was going on. The Carl/Ron scene was hilariously bad, and why Carl lied for the little git is completely beyond me - just so they can string it out and come back to it later is my guess. Nobody seemed to think that keeping quiet might be a good idea, or stop the record playing, and topped by Eugene and the two women (whose names I can't remember, which shows how bothered I am, I guess) just chatting away whilst the zombies clawed at the window behind them. And as for the after credits scene - hmm, you see a bunch of bikers in the distance wielding guns but you keep driving right up to them? Um, okay.

The only thing that might've saved it for me would've been Glenn climbing the tree just in time to see Maggie fall into the zombies

Yeah driving through probably would have not gone well. especially as they are driving a rig full of guzzoline, could have gone very Mad Max. However I was a bit underwhelmed when they got out of the vehicle with no weapons, I really expected Abe to step out with the Rocket Launcher, that would have made them think! Still not a good idea, but could have made for some interesting lines "You don't bring guns to a rocket fight"...

I'm not sure how I felt about this episode. First off...if there was a building standing outside their walls, they would have taken it down a long time ago. Someone could have scaled it to get over the walls and in, or perched and pegged the people inside off with a gun. Then that wolf would have shot them, not just left. If he is as crazy as they made him seem. Morgan is messed up. He just wanted to 'fix' the guy like he was 'fixed' but it's not always possible. In Morgan's attempt to not kill people, he is getting people killed...kind of the same thing is it not?

Rick's new girlfriend's kids are the worst! You almost want to applaud Carl for being the bigger man, but that's what Glenn did when Nicholas tried to kill him and look where that got them...not that it's any of my business.

I do have a feeling that this season would be much better in a binge watch on netflix than waiting week to week. I've found a lot about the episodes slow moving and kind of boring this season. I am all good with build up, but something's missing at this point. Oh well...on to the Saviors. (I also want Abraham to grab a rocket launcher and blow them up but I don't see that happening)
