Episode 2.03: The Last Laugh

Jerome is dead, hope people will finally believe he is not the Joker. The Joker does not become The Joker until after Bruce is already Batman. They won't show the real Joker as The Joker in the series because it would be down hill afterwards. The same way in Smallville Clark didn't fly until the very last episode.

I don't know. I'm so confused with this series.

No-one says Gotham has to religiously stick to the source material, or even pick one strand to stick with. What if Jerome wasn't The Joker, but a Joker? Maybe even a small screen homage to Nicholson's Joker?

Who knows, the writers might have a weird sense of humour - "Yeah, we know we're the umpteenth take on Batman, soooo... how about we include all the Jokers who have been and gone, and then introduce our own take in the fourth or fifth series?".

Just seen this now.

Must admit I was very surprised he got killed. Rather liked the little lunatic, even to the extent that I wouldn't mind if they decided to resurrect him.

As teases go, I thought the show's non-Joker thread was rather well done.
