Crazy!
That's only word I can use to describe last season, because it was full of all kind of crazy situations just like they said it would be. And nobody had any idea how mental it would get. Not even I; although I have read the source material. But it was also so absolutely beautiful in horrific way that I cannot but wonder how we would fair in their world?
Probably not very well, especially with the Internet being down for most of the time.
See, I'm already crying, but that's because this episode deserves an Emmy. This series deserves with some sort of recognition that is other to its massive viewership. Maybe that is one thing but it would be nice to see Kirkman holding some sort shiny in his hands one of these days. After all The Walking Dead has improved so much from second season, where everyone plus a dog thought that Carol should go.
I don't think anyone of you would say that now, especially now when you saw her holding a knife to wifebeater throat and begging him to try to beat her. Long gone are those days from her mind, just like they are from Deanna's now that he's husband is lying dead on her feet and that is all thanks to her inability to see the real world out there.
None of the politicians see it and Deanna did wrong, when she thought that she can simply sit out and
not seek facts to back her decisions. You can only imagine what sort of safe-heaven Alexandria would really be, if she had opted to send out more patrols than just Aaron and his mate.
Aaron indirectly admits to Daryl that's the case. He sent or should I say redirected survivors elsewhere under Deanna's council. He even gave them supplies to honour "all life is precious" deal, and I wouldn't be surprised, if we saw a few of them coming back in upcoming seasons. After all Alexandria didn't go up in smoke; even if grimly coloured Ricktator came to say last few words, before he did the deed and put Jesse down without a hesitation.
A sane man would had seen a reason to lock up the doctor and wait untill sanity returned in his head. But he didn't and he went out with the line "
... and I was thinking how many of you I have to put down to save you," which fight directly against the roots of his believes.
Neverthless, that isn't the case with Glenn, as he gets the situation so clearly, and he's ending at the hands of random roamers would had been really, really sad. Unceremonial even.
We don't know if he gets out from the woods. What we know is that he did better than Rick, and that same thing applies to Maggy, for saving Gabriel's sorry ass for almost killing more of his flock. When does he start to see the light at the end of the tunnel?
Also can Morgan put sanity back in Rick's head?
PS. Sasha needs to see a shrink. Or a minister.
