Discussion - March 2015 100-Word Anon Writing Challenge (#5)

Wonderful, the deliveries keep rolling in! There is a great smile to be had with this latest story--perfect title! :)

Also, terrific use of the 100 words, everyone! It's great seeing that ceiling employed! :)

Another fine story just posted! Spooky stuff! :) I'll check for new stories throughout the evening--no worries about time of day though, message them to me any time and I'll process them ASAP! I'm hoping we can get to 25 stories this month.

ps--not big news, really, but I just noticed that today is my 1 year anniversary at the Chrons! Wow, it's gone faster than I'd have believed possible. Thanks to everyone I've interacted with over the last year for making this such a fun, positive experience! :)

"Disownment" -- The author offers a gruesome tale of crime and punishment.

"In the Night" -- The fact that our greatest fears may be those closest to us fills this story with terror.

"Digitus Absentia" -- This merry comedy has jolly fun with pop culture.

"My Little Sister" -- The rivalry which often exists between siblings is brought to chilling light in this frightening tale.

OMG, thank you telford! That's an incredibly nice and thoughtful thing to say! *blushes* :)

Every time there is a new story posted I rush to the story thread and read it and think 'Wow' and am all set to rush back and congratulate CC on the entry... then I remember that this is the Anonymous challenge and CC didn't actually write it... maybe

Hah! Cascade, that's so funny because I've had the exact same reaction in each of the other four 100 worders! :)

Story number eight has been posted! We're 8 for 8 with good tales! :)

Oh my, never written anything horror before, could be interesting. Will see if I can come up with anything, or not ;)

Nice to meet you Pwaa. Don't feel alone, there are others here who have not tried writing "horror" until recently. It was quite an experiance for them. And there are also others here who can astound you with graphic nightmares that may haunt your mind. All types of people here, with different styles of writing.

Give it a try if you like.

Well then, happy Chroniversary. :)

And yes, a spooktacular month so far. Fits in well with all the bare trees and frozen-tundra-wasteland in my neck of the woods.

Sounds very atmospheric. Cool. It's cold, snow duned and quiet in my neck of the woods too. (right now) The sound of the whispering wind, and the big, bright, full moon, covered in a mild haze that crawls in front of it. Few of the brightest stars twinkle, and the planet Venus....

Heh heh. I got carried away Juliana. Tis a good night for inspiratoin, aye.

You make a great host. The stories are creeping in nicely.

Juliana, brought to my attention that it's your first year here! (post #26) Happy Chroniversary Cat's Cradle. (y)

Thank you Starbeast! :)

And story number 10 is up. Well done, Anonyous author 10!

Thanks, DG! I might disappear for awhile, though, at 999!

Another new story--very creepy! :)

Hmm... Could be so form of advanced bluffing.
I have never mentioned here that my surname is Lovecraft, mwahahahaa.
Pwaa...how would we know?? :)
Just have a crack at it, Pwaa. You might surprise yourself.
