Hi everybody! So, other than writing and posting in the Sekrit Santa exchange and digesting some excellent feedback for a WIP from one of you (thanks again, by the way!), I've temporarily set aside writing for the last nine months or so to teach myself how to make mobile games with Cocos2D on iOS. It's been challenging, but fun. Feel free to ask any questions if you're thinking of doing the same, and I'll try to answer.

Aaaaannd, my game is now live! (I'm pretty excited, as you can tell from all the exclamation marks!) Dream Pipe, the free iOS action puzzler that I built is now on the App Store. Check it out and let me know what you think. And if you like it, please take a moment to review it on the App Store! (Reviews are hugely important, so thanks in advance!)

This game is a model for another one I'm working on, so if you're comfortable doing so, I welcome any frank feedback you may have, either here or in a PM. It can only make the next one better!

So me and my 10 year old beta tester brought it down today. She liked the game and the concept but it kept freezing, like all the time, and the ads were intrusive at the end of each game. The freezing was a big issue. It also took a long time to come down from the app store.

Thanks for the feedback! Do you know which model of iPad you're on? (iPad 2, 4, air, air 2, mini, mini retina, etc.) I've not ran into freezing, so that's no Gouda. Does it recover from these freezes on its own or do you have to hard quit the app? Thanks again, Springs! Always can count on useful feedback from you! ;)

I hope that wasn't because of me saying how much I liked your story?

Hah! No, HB, I think it's the scope of it all combined with how easy it is to get caught in vicious editing cycles. Knowing that I'm only half done with the two projects I had going -- I wanted to turn to something that I knew I could accomplish in six months or so and then come back to writing. I may do a comic short, as they are also hard to edit to death after the ink hits the paper. Or I may start on the Hadadabad novella. Getting close to a plot on that.

SPRINGS! Look at that book cover! Awesome, and congrats. Is there a firm release date yet?
