I am pleased to announce that Jennifer L Carson (a very good friend of Teresa's) and Sam Primeau have joined the Tickety Boo team of editors. They are in very good company with Jeff Richards, Teresa Edgerton and Chris Penycate.

As well as her editing duties, Sam will run and edit the SpectralBoo Zine which will publish short stories, interviews etc online. This is a joint effort with Simon Marshall Jones' Spectral Press. An announcement on that will come soon.

Also Sam, known to us as the Dusty Zebra, will take charge of some of Tickety Boo Press' marketing. Seeking out reviewers, bloggers, places to promote TBP etc. This is a very important next stage for the Press which is one years of age tomorrow.

Great to have both of you aboard the good-ship Tickety Boo.

That is great news. With the sheer volume of releases you have scheduled, I think it's probably a good idea.

Sam does a great job, and has helped me with a 'few' of my pieces. I hope this doesn't mean I have to start paying her

The SpectralBoo piece sounds really cool as well.

Congrats all

Congratulations, all three!

If Sam is that convincing, she should do well at marketing!

And Jennifer has a wide experience in publishing. She's done a little of everything and a great deal of most things involved in the editing and production of books.

Jennifer and I already had our memberships for WorldCon, so we'll be the TBP contingent there. (Now if we could only convince Sam. It's a mere thousand or so miles from where she lives ...)

Congratulations, all those concerned, especially TDZ and Gary. :)

Is SpectralBoo looking for ghost writers...?

It's the end of August. Since we won't have a table (too late for that I am afraid) or enough people to run one even if we did, we won't be able to sell books as such, but I am sure we'll be flashing them around a lot so that people can see what TBP has to offer. And we can distribute handouts and do a few other things (we can start a discussion via email about what some of those things might be) and if we are chosen to do panels we can doubtless work in a few plugs for TBP books and authors.

Jennifer's made it all official then? Excellence, approachability and knowledge make her one impressive lady when it comes to the editing front.

Huzzah!

Missed this announcement somehow, congratulations on your work everyone involved. TBP is on an upward run!
