Star Wars: Rebels

Idiot's Array made me laugh many times. It definitely hit comedic marks, all of them.
So, I can not find any information on the next episode, not even acknowledgement that there will be a next episode. I thought I read there would be 13 episodes in season one. Technically, Idiot's Array was number nine if you count the pilot as a movie, not an episode. WHICH, has made it a nightmare to try and figure it out online which episode was next. Anyway, has anyone heard about the next episode?

I'm still confusing by the episode numbers too. The most recent I saw was one at the Jedi Temple.... so I'm at least 1 behind it seems!

Monday, February 2 – 9:00 – Episode 112 – “Vision of Hope”
Monday, February 9 – 9:00 – Episode 113 – “Call to Action”
Monday, February 23 – 9:00 – Episode 114 – “Rebel Resolve”

I am assuming those dates are for the official broadcast but on Disney XD it might be a week earlier like they have been doing all season long...

I saw Ezra's light sabre in the Disney shop before the Christmas and I didn't said anything for a reason, because I knew that it was going to be able to shoot. But the way he got it out from the Jedi temple was simply amazing. And it opened so much when Yoda sensei it. He was a true master of the scene and it connected nicely to the end of the Clone Wars, where Anakin turns to the Darth Vader and Yoda flies off the Dagobah to do this:

Ooh that is a spoiler by Disney, naughty!

Most recent one I saw featured Lando Calrissian, they're really filling this show with cameo's from the original trilogy!!

I went and checked upcoming episodes. There are three of them for this season.

S01E10 "Vision of Hope" February 2, 2015
S01E11 "Call to Action" February 9, 2015
S01E12 "Rebel Resolve" February 23, 2015

I'm glad this is a really good show because someone is not handling something right about it. From my experience, I have never seen so much confusion of episode numbers or episode release dates or where it's released. What I mean by release dates is it has an official 'street' day release on the disney XD channel, a week earlier if you have the XD app, and the fact that you need a higher tier cable service to watch it at all without having to buy to watch on itunes one is forced out of the game or left to search for it online. This gives people spoiler problems if you want to see the episodes 'fresh'. Then there is the whole Hasbro toy failure as this show has been out since October and there has been next to no Rebels action figures on store shelves to this day. From a certain point of view this show should be dying but it is written so well it has stellar reviews and a great following and I hope this continues. I also hope they treat this show and it's fans a might bit better in the future and stop dropping the ball. To be fair, Hasbro has been dropping the ball now for years concerning their action figure line. Get with it! (see what happens when Lucas is not involved anymore;) )

Not comparing it to any show/movie before it, I would still give Star Wars Rebels a 10/10. As someone who grew up on the original trilogy, this show is a true extension for a newer generation.

Compared to the Clone Wars tv show, Rebels far surpasses Clone Wars' first 4 seasons...which is only room for excitement.

I agree.. lessons have been learned and even if this show's target market is even younger than Clone Wars the tone mostly works well.

Star Wars Rebels actor Freddie Prinze Jr confirms that season 2 on Disney XD will have "nearly twice as many episodes"...

The animated spin off series Star Wars: Rebels will be back for a longer run for its second season later this year as revealed on Twitter by one of its voice actors, Freddie Prinze Jr.

Even before the show had aired, Disney showed faith by ordering a second run but it now appears that this will be a significantly longer season. Prinze, who plays Jedi Kanan Jarrus, tweeted: “We recorded nearly twice as many episodes.”

This would mean that the second outing for Star Wars: Rebels is set for a full 22 or even 24 episode run starting later in 2015. The first season has 13 episodes and a double episode pilot.

And whilst we’re talking about the next batch of episodes, it appears Lando will be back again. Having just appeared in the ninth episode, Idiot's Array, Billy Dee Williams has told website Cinelinx, “There's more adventures with Lando coming up,” adding “They keep calling me up to do Lando, and I love Lando, so I don't mind! As long as the fans keep responding to it in a positive way, they'll keep bringing [Lando] back..."

So, good news for Star Wars fans who seem to be enjoying Rebels immensely with generally positive reviews all round. Something to enjoy before and after the upcoming movie, The Force Awakens in December.

"Vision of Hope"
Lots of suspenseful action in this one I really enjoyed it. I like seeing Ezra continue training as well as having visions. Great having Brent Spiner show up as Gall Trayvis.
"Call to Action"
Another amazing episode with tons of action. Loved the intro where Grand Moff Tarkin arrived, it felt straight from the movies. Excellent cliffhanger.

Man, oh man, Kanan.

What can I say to not to spoil the latest? Well... I can tell you that you will love every minute of it. "Call to Action" starts with classical Imperial March as another original character lands on the Lothal. If you have seen the trailers, you know who, but if you haven't, I'm not going to tell you as it is a treat from the past. But I have to say that Rebels keeps impressing me with the quality. The developers have worked very hard and they have applied every trick from the Clone Wars to make this series one of the best animated series in the small screen.

It is truly that good and I only sigh because the pilot season is so short. Too short for my liking, and I can only applaud to Mickey Mouse company on them doubling episodes for next season. There is only one episode left, and it's in two weeks time, which makes this wait awfully long, as most of you might have got used to the idea of having regularly coming episodes.

What makes this wait even harder is because of the cliffhanger at the end of this episode. Not only that but I assume they'll make another for the season final. And that is going to be a hard thing to for me to personally swallow, even if we're going to get the movie later in the air, and possibly see start for second season, but neverthless, just think about all those months without Rebels ... or Clone Wars...

What are we going to do?

*Sniff*

Call to action:

So the Rebels got their message out there, but at a high cost.. Kanan is in the hands of the Empire. Finally the Empire shows its teeth rather than being a hapless bad-guy fest!

Too short for my liking, and I can only applaud to Mickey Mouse company on them doubling episodes for next season
That's good news!

I'm a bit surprised that nobody has bothered saying anything about the final two episodes, but it might be that you just haven't seen that two parter, while you should because it's absolutely amazing...

... and thrilling as the final two reveals will set the tone for upcoming twentysix episodes in the second season. What makes it even more amazing is that it fills the hole they left in the final season as it brings Ashoka back as Fulcrum. And when that encounter fades in we find out that Ana... er ... Darth Vader \m/ walks into the scene to clear rebels scum from Lothal.

It is almost as if Rebels is directly continuing from where the Clone Wars and the Revenge of the Sith left us. And that makes me wonder if we are going to see Ventress taking a side next to Ashoka as there are no clearly defined lines between two orders left in the universe. But I doubt it will ever happen as the Sith Assassin wouldn't ever dear to raise a finger and try to take the throne from the Emperor and his Apprentice.

"Fire Across the Galaxy" Fantastic season finale!
Ezra and Kanan's duel against the Inquisitor was epic and very reminiscence of Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon Jinn battle against Darth Maul. I hope the Inquisitor survived but I don't see how. I like that they were able to use the stolen TIE fighter from earlier in the season again. Finally getting a glimpse at the Rebel Alliance was awesome. Great to see Bail Organa show up again. The reveal that Fulcrum is Ahsoka was pretty cool and essentially makes Clone Wars cannon under Disney. I punched the air and yelled hell yeah when Darth Vader showed up at the end.
I seriously can't wait to see season 2.

That was a fabulous season finale! Love everything about it, from Sabine's TIE fighter art to the 'special guests'. I read that Sarah Michelle Gellar will be in season 2; can't wait to see what her character is!

Editing to add: love the #MinionsArePeopleToo bit with
the two stormtroopers talking about the painted TIE; one says "That's not regulation" and the other replies "I kind of like it." Atta boy, arty stormtrooper! Live wild and free... :D

Loved the season finale . Looking forward to season 2 (y)

Good finale to a strong season!

Great to see the identity of Fulcrum as we had pretty much all guessed.. and the introduction of the helmeted one should up the ante for next season!!
