Favourite Movie Scene

I have to say that my favourite scene is when they're in the mines - i can't pick which mine bit - probably the bit when they're in the vast hall - and then when the orcs all appear crawling over the ceiling.

Second favourite has to be my mum's favourite - the two tall statues - it's amazing when they sail past the feet!

Your getting the hang of this, I can see!:)

One of my favourite scenes is also from the mines. Where Sam opens fire with the frying pan in an attempt to recue Frodo.

But the greatest is when Frodo volunteers to take the Ring into Mordor. Gandalf shutting his eye's and praying set it off an absolute treat.

Oh of course! My mum is currently watching the film downstairs - I've decided my third favourite part is Rivendell - it's just so like in the book!

ooo...tough call...ummm...I think my favorite scene has to be when Sam tries to swim going after Frodo...it tugged at my heartstrings

My favorite scene is Bilbo's birthday party and the nice fireworks. :D

That's also one of my favrite scenes. That and when the apples are thrown at Pippen (or is it Merry?) and when he asks where they are going.

Hmmmmm. Favorite scene.... that's a toughie in a film with so many GREAT scenes.

I think one of the best was Strider's introduction. It really set the tone for the Hobbits of what was about to come.

There were tons of great scenes, though, so I can't really chose a fav. I even got all gushy when Aragorn was even slightly intimate with Arwen.

hmm... im gonna have to say when they are choosing the fellowship at rivendell and merry and pippin run in "you need someone with brains" "well that excludes you then" :D and the bit in the mines when the door finally surcumbs to the enemy and they charge through.

i likes the bit where they're up in Weathertop, tis wicked, plus arrie looked so rugged and handsome when he's got his fire sticks ;) :D

ok jess, which lotr characters dont you fancy... maybe i should make that into a new thread :p ;)

well, there's Gimli, sam, all the monsters of course.......erm........getting a bit stuck here :D

and anyway, it's notmy fault! they shouldn't have cast bloody goodlooking actors! IT'S NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

u do realise i will never talk to you again, on the net or otherwise, don't u? this is the reason y i didnt answer your txt

i don't know if u realise thoses smilies are exactly the same distance apart?

*Cough, cough, hack, wheeze*

OK, had to blow the dust off this one, but here's a few scenes that clearly weren't someone's favorite!

Enjoy!

Video not available in my country apparently. I'll have another look later using hola on the laptop and see if it will play for me.

My favourite scene in LOTR is the one (might just be in extended version) where Aragorn kicks the helmet next to the pyre of orcs near Fangorn then drops to his knees. Apparently Vigo managed to kick a rock by accident, broke his foot and dropped to the ground in agony but it looked so good on film that Peter Jackson kept it in.

If not for the fact that VM got hurt, that would be hysterical, Kerry. Wonder how much longer that extended the filming?

P.S. There's also a "Everything Wrong with the Two Towers" clip on YouTube, should you get it working.
