Discussion Thread -- September 2014 75-word Writing Challenge

ok so got mine up - a little something with a touch of home. nothing much, but something to get the writing going again.

edit: i will have to find some time to catch up on everything when i can
 
Well, no question this month about us reaching the 42 mark. Still, with a bit more than half a day remaining for the latecomers I will point out that alchemist, Azzagorn, BigJ, Boneman, Culhwch, Starbeast, StilLearning, The Judge, TheDustyZebra, Tywin and Ursa major had not, at the moment of my inscribing this, yet submitted and, of course, numerous others could join in a final sprint to make this a record breaker, as I've only marked the most likely culprits.
 
T.E. That was an exquisite piece of writing! (Later you will have to let me know what the sentence was the inspired the story. I have a guess.)
 
RE chrispenycate.... I have submitted a story (of sorts), I have, I have, I have! I've got a review off Victoria (thank you Victoria) and a comment off winterlight, and a sticker (ok.. that's not true but it should be) and everything!
 
I'm in, though I don't know that following Boneman's ribs was the best move I ever made. I'm going for tear-jerking, and he's gone for human-flesh-jerkying...
 
Still more than four hours to go, and I'm in too. (I have no idea how that happened.)
 
Yes, you were supposed to be running late because the Challenge went up 24 minutes late at the start of the month. Another plan, foiled. :whistle:
 
Well, I didn't want to get caught out by September being one of the shorter months of the year....
