Game of Thrones Award Nominations

I started this thread as a place where we can post and discuss the inevitable various award nominations that GOT will receive.

The first is the Television Critics Association Awards.

Peter Dinklage is nominated for his role. GOT is nominated in three catergories, including Best New Program, Best Drama and Best Program.

Next up are the Emmy nominations and Golden Globes.

Great that it's been nominated, especially for best program. Looks like some pretty stiff competition though - I've heard Boardwalk Empire is pretty great, and everyone's been going (deservedly) crazy about Parks and Rec this season.

Boardwalk Empire is very good and will be strong competition but it hasn't grabbed my heart the way GoT has. So for that reason alone I really hope that GoT sweeps the boards.

I'd love for Peter Dinklage to win. He's amazing.

Although to clarify i really want to see it win the "best picture" so to speak of the emmys, nominations are nice but seriously homeland wins EVERYTHING
